Hometown Heroes offers a platform for individuals and businesses to be a hero. Since 2008, we have networked countless people together to help others. By signing up to be a hero we may call on you for a volunteer project in your area or you may be called upon because of your unique, special skills. We offer services in 3 ways, financial assistance, advocacy and professional assistance. The professional assistance part is where YOU come in…
You tell us what your capabilities are and what you would be willing to do… Example, we secured a funeral for a family who lost a loved one due to a fire because a funeral home owner hero stepped up to do the right thing. An audiologist stepped up to become a hero by helping a homeless woman with hearing aids allowing her to regain her hearing after 20 years. You may just want to offer your services at events as a volunteer or organizer. There are many ways to be a hero in your community.
As a volunteer, you will be entered into our database and called upon for your skills, you will be notified of events going on in your area and kept in the loop, so to speak, of what new things Hometown Heroes is up to.
For a yearly fee of $30 you will be helping Hometown Heroes continue the mission of helping those in need. You will receive a Hometown Heroes t-shirt and lapel pin that you can wear proudly to let others know that you are a hero as well.
As a major contributor, you will get all the benefits of a sustaining member however, your name or organization will be listed on our website and published at our annual gala.
